Anish has been part of the Tata Group for over 2 decades and joins Tata ClassEdge with a rich experience in the technology sector across Asia, Europe, and North America. He is part of the Tata Administrative Services, Batch of 2007, a cohort handpicked for leadership roles within the Tata group.
Anish has a proven track record of building large scalable businesses and turning around companies at a global scale. Since February 2023, he has been steering Tata ClassEdge towards becoming the choice digital partner for schools in India, while continuing to build on the positive aspects of the company’s culture and customer-centricity.
Tarun is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with 27 years of experience. He began his career at Ernst & Young’s corporate advisory group and, thereafter, served roles at TAIB Capital, a Middle-East PE Fund, and N.M.Raiji & Co, prior to joining Tata Sons in 2003.
Tarun has extensive experience in treasury, risk assurance, strategic finance and value creation. He was involved in more than 20 cross-border M&As done by Tata Group between 2003-2011. At Tata Sons, he also held positions at Group Chairman’s office to drive restructuring initiatives at unlisted subsidiaries. Before joining Tata ClassEdge Limited, he was the Chief Risk Officer of Tata Industries Limited.
Maria’s fondness for clinical psychology and child development introduced her to the field of human resources and training. She is a trained clinical psychologist with a management degree in human resources from the University of Mumbai.
Maria has experience in human resource management across industries, including Ion Exchange (India) and Indian Hotels Company Limited, where she shouldered the responsibility of the overall HR and learning service delivery across borders.
Maria’s experience in human resource management ranges from manufacturing corporations such as Ion Exchange (India) to the service industry (Indian Hotels Company Limited), where she was General Manager – Human Resources and a Strategic Business Partner to the Global Sales and Marketing function, with the responsibility of the overall HR and learning service delivery, across borders. Before joining Tata ClassEdge, Maria worked as Head – Human Resources, Training and Administration at Ginger Hotels.
Manoj has 28 years of experience in customer support services, service delivery management, team management, vendor management and project management. He has been part of Tata ClassEdge for 12 years now. He drives the service delivery function and owns the entire customer relationship management portfolio that focuses on making Tata ClassEdge the preferred partner for digital education in the country.
Mumtaz has a background in counseling psychology and has been associated with Tata ClassEdge and its parent company for over two decades. She enjoys working with children of all ages and cherishes the energy of an invigorated classroom. She has conceptualized and designed several offerings for Tata ClassEdge and is committed to delivering teaching-learning experiences that meet the Tata ClassEdge maxim: better teachers make better students.
Baldeep is responsible for business operations, project management, sales operations, supply chain and strategy for Tata ClassEdge. He has been part of the Tata Group for over a decade, working across India and South and East Asia. Prior to joining Tata ClassEdge, Baldeep was associated with Tata Technologies as Head of Operations – China. Baldeep holds a master’s degree in supply chain and operations from Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University and bachelor’s degree in production engineering from Pune University.
Arijit is passionate about emerging technologies and constantly seeks ways to innovate and improve. He is particularly interested in using technology to solve problems in the education sector. He believes that creating a differentiated learning experience for students is key. His goal is to foster an environment where students can ask questions, explore, and take ownership of their learning.
Santosh is a Tata ClassEdge veteran. With an impressive 21 years of experience in the education industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
As Head – Sales, Santosh’s primary responsibilities encompass spearheading the sales function, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new schools, broadening the organisation’s market footprint, and ensuring that schools fully enjoy the advantages of Tata ClassEdge solutions. Santosh’s dedication and leadership are pivotal in driving the organisation’s growth and propelling it along its growth trajectory.
